Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment Training for Trainers

This group training format is designed for use by an experienced trainer who will lead an in-person, group training experience. The content is comprised of two modules that address bullying in the classroom setting. Specifically, it is designed for the trainer to assist teachers, other educators, and support personnel in effectively addressing bullying behavior while cultivating and sustaining meaningful positive relationships with students and building a positive classroom climate.

Module 1 – Understanding and Intervening in Bullying Behavior. This module addresses how to identify and effectively intervene when bullying occurs, including de-escalation strategies.

Module 2 – Creating a Supportive Classroom Climate. This module explores effective strategies to build a classroom climate in which bullying is less likely to occur.
