This webinar is focused on prevention and is the first session in the Preventing and Addressing School Violence including Gun Violence Miniseries. We will begin with an overview of prevention strategies, focusing on the importance of building a positive school climate, collaboratively developing high-quality Emergency Operation Plans, using threat assessments as a prevention tool, and safe firearms storage.
