The National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE) develops and maintains special compendia of policies, surveys, and resources aimed at improving conditions for learning.
For policies, NCSSLE maintains three policy products -- one focuses on discipline, complete with a searchable database; another focuses on bullying, with state profiles; and the last one focuses on safe firearm storage and child access prevention, with an interactive map and database.
For surveys, NCSSLE maintains a list of valid and reliable school climate survey batteries, as well as maintains and enhances the U.S. Department of Education School Climate Surveys.
For resources, NCSSLE annually updates directories of federal resources on sexual assault and school climate and discipline topics, as well resources focused on improving educator well-being.
