Description
As part of the President's plan to reduce gun violence in our schools and communities, GSA is committed to helping our nations' educators and local officials make schools safer. Through the Cooperative Purchasing Program, State and local governments – including public K-12 schools and institutions of higher education – can purchase safety and security-related products and services under the same terms and conditions as Federal agencies, saving time and reducing costs on items such as security cameras, emergency communications equipment, security consulting services, security design and support services, alarm and access control systems, Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentialing services, etc.
This one-hour webinar, Using Federal Contracts to Enhance School & Campus Security, provided participants with:
- An overview of the Cooperative Purchasing Program;
- A better understanding of program eligibility and benefits; and
- The ability to access information to help increase accessibility to safety and security equipment and services for public K-12 schools and institutions of higher education.
