Missouri State's Veteran Student Center offers 'base camp' for students who served

The first time Chase Boggs heard a 21-gun salute was during the funeral service for his great uncle, a military veteran, in their shared hometown of Walnut Grove. Following active service, Boggs returned to Springfield and Missouri State. He worked with the Oldham Family Veteran Student Center on campus to regain his initial scholarships and secure additional financial aid. He plans to use the GI Bill to go to law school.
