Ready to Lead: A 2019 Update of Principals’ Perspectives on How Social and Emotional Learning Can Prepare Children and Transform Schools

Presents findings from a 2019 survey on principals' perspectives on social and emotional learning. In a follow-up of a 2017 survey, more than 700 K-12 principals were surveyed, and key findings showed that principals are ready to bring systemic, schoolwide SEL to their schools, but they need more support from state and district leaders.
