Understanding Youth Violence

Advocates preventing youth violence by defining youth violence, presenting current data on prevalence and risk factors, and providing a four-step approach and resources schools can use. The four steps include defining the problem, identifying risk and protective factors, developing and testing prevention strategies, and ensuring widespread adoption of the successful prevention strategy.
