Office of Safe and Healthy Students Grantee Meeting in Chicago 2016
On October 26, 2016 the Office of Safe and Healthy Students (OSHS) hosted the "Safe and Healthy Students Pre-conference Meeting" for the project directors of all OSHS grants. Project Prevent (P2) and Elementary and Secondary School Counselor (ESSC) Grantees attended separate afternoon sessions hosted by the National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE). Both sessions provided time for discussion and collaboration between grantees, provided information and resources, and identified technical assistant needs for the upcoming year.

Experts who worked with these grantees included representatives from the National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE), Training Specialist Tim Duffey (NCSSLE via Vision Training Associates), and the University of Maryland Center for School Mental Health(CSMH).
