This webinar will take place April 29 and provide an in-depth review of the Guiding Principle #3, Equity & Continuous Improvement of the U.S. Department of Education issued Guiding Principles: A Resource Guide for Improving School Climate and Discipline which was jointly issued by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice as part of the School Discipline Guidance Package released on January 8, 2014. This engaging and interactive webinar will walk through Guiding Principle #3 and its recommended Action Steps in detail. It will also provide concrete examples of how it can be implemented. The Webinar will be accompanied by a "tracking guide" for participants to use while viewing the event. The tracking guide will include a short self-assessment aligned with the Action Steps of Guiding Principle #3 and a list of related resources to support implementation. Presenters The Webinar will be presented by Dr. David Osher and feature Rebecca Fitch from the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights and experts, including Drs. This Webinar provided an in-depth review of Guiding Principle #3, Equity & Continuous Improvement of the U.S. Department of Education issued Guiding Principles: A Resource Guide for Improving School Climate and Discipline which was jointly issued by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice as part of the School Discipline Guidance Package released on January 8, 2014.
