Behind the push to make college campuses more family friendly

When one pictures a college campus, images of young adults fresh out of high school whose primary job is academics may come to mind. In reality, many of those undergraduate students are in their mid-20s or older. They're also parents and less likely to complete their degree compared to their peers without dependent children. New research is turning a spotlight on how some colleges are looking at ways to adapt their campus environments to better support student parents and boost degree completion.
