@THEU

At the University of Utah, we have a shared responsibility for creating a campus of belonging – one that is free from violent, threatening, and discriminatory behavior.  While free speech, controversial ideas, and even harmful language are protected by the U.S. Constitution, hate crimes, threats of violence, and discrimination that violate the law or University policy are not protected. If you’ve experienced or witnessed a potential hate crime, or if you’ve experienced discrimination or harassment on campus, you can learn more about how to report here.
