In recent weeks, safety has been top of mind for many college students as several murders shake communities in Georgia, Kentucky, and Colorado. It raises the question of how college students in Chattanooga feel about their safety and some are taking measure of their own. "So I wear an air tag so my mom can see where I'm going," said a student. "I always lock my door, and if I am out late at night, I'm just vigilant of my surroundings." another said. 50 emergency call boxes with blue lights shine brightly across the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, campus. Students can press the button and an emergency official will show up.
