Raising the Bar for Children’s Mental Health

On Monday, April 1, 2024, from 2:00-4:30 p.m. EST,  the U.S. Department of Education, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Center for Medicaid Services, convened state and local government leaders to discuss investing in children’s mental health and overall wellbeing.  This virtual convening included representatives from schools, districts, and states that are successfully providing school-based services and that are investing in building capacity to support students’ mental health now and into the future, including by using Medicaid funds.
