Uneven Terrain Learning Spaces in Higher Education in Prison

This report explores the role of space, architecture, and design in the context of higher education in prison. Understanding that the actual physical spaces of the prison system and the infrastructure that serves it are both aging and already strained by changes in population, policy, and technology, this report explores issues of educational access and equity by interrogating how carceral spaces impact student learning inside prisons.
