Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment Self-Study Training Module

This self-study format is designed for teachers, other educators, and support personnel who are unable to, or prefer not to, participate in an in-person, group training experience. It contains the same content as the group training formatted materials, but provides a self-paced format that allows the individual to benefit from the material on their own schedule.

Module 1 – Understanding and Intervening in Bullying Behavior. This module addresses how to identify and effectively intervene when bullying occurs, including de-escalation strategies.

Module 2 – Creating a Supportive Classroom Climate. This module explores effective strategies to build a classroom climate in which bullying is less likely to occur.
